Rain water is collected, filtered and stored on site. This water is used as make up process water saving approximately 400 liters per year. In addition Iztapalapa recycles used coolant saving on material cost while reducing the amount of waste generated.
Shelbyville, Tennessee saves 10,000 gallons of water
Shelbyville has installed this mop water recycling unit which reduces waste hauling and disposal costs, while saving 10,000 gallons of water.
